Nigel Rein SC
The Honourable Nigel Rein SC was appointed as a Judge of the District court in 2002 and as an Acting Judge on the Supreme Court in the period 2006- 2008 following which, in 2008, he was appointed as a permanent Judge of the Supreme Court sitting in its Equity Division until 2022. He was Admiralty List Judge from 2008 until March 2022.
With more than 40 years’ experience in civil litigation as a solicitor, barrister, Senior Counsel and Judge, Mr Rein is available to act as a Mediator, Arbitrator and Referee and to provide neutral evaluation and expert determinations.
Areas of civil litigation in which Mr Rein has specific expertise are Equity, Insurance Law, Commercial and Property Law, Trusts and Succession, Maritime Law, Professional Negligence, and Consumer Law.
